From an Alum: Michael McElhiney
These folks are great…you definitely want to be a part of what the 58 stands for. If you are hesitant…don’t be. If you come to auditions and don’t make it, then it wasn’t meant to be. Don’t let your pride let you miss out on an opportunity to sing with incredible people, and share your music with everyone. You have got to remember, that there are millions of people that love music, and can’t sing a note. They want to so badly, but some are tone-deaf, don’t have rhythm, or even mute for that matter. To be stingy with the gift that is a singing voice is to smack all of those people in the face. Music is an intangible, and profound expression that transcends your daily life, and daily strife. Pining for the profound and intangible is the difference between existing and living. Sharing the music that your soul can make is a privilege, and a beautiful obligation. That’s just my two cents…or three cents (it was long). Good luck Greenies/future Greenies. SING DAMNIT SING!
